Taiwo (Tee) Ogunyemi

Taiwo (Tee) Ogunyemi is the founder and Managing Director of Regent Consulting (Bermuda) Ltd., a business consulting and financing brokerage office. He is also the Managing Director for Bermuda Universal Realty, a real estate company with particular focus as a Buyer’s Agency. In addition, he is an Associate of Bermuda Business Coach, a company that provides Strategic Planning, Business Valuations and other services to the Small Business sector. He is a Certified Instructor for the ‘Streetwise MBA’ program which offers training for CEOs of businesses. Prior to establishing Regent Consulting, Tee spent over 18 years in the Banking sector notably in the areas of Retail Banking, Operations and Corporate Credit In the position of Vice president – Operations at Butterfield Bank, he was the head of Treasury Operations, managing over 40 specialist administrators and officers in the efficient delivery of Foreign Exchange Settlements, Cash Management, International Money Transfers and other back office functions. Then, seconded to the Corporate Banking Group by the Bank's executive, Tee comprehensively grew and managed a $70 - $100m Corporate Lending portfolio of high value Clients. As Head of Business Banking, he significantly raised the Bank’s profile in the small and medium-sized business sector and fostered positive and profitable relationships within the business community. Apart from Banking, he possesses valuable expertise and experience in Real Estate Development, Sales and Property Management from the earlier part of his career. Tee holds a BSc. (Hons) Degree in Estate Management as well as a Diploma in Management Studies (DMS) from Birkbeck College, University of London and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Webster University. Professional Designations include a Member of the Institute of Directors (MIoD). He currently serves as a director on the Board of two non-profit organizations.
